Shenzhen Gathers Public Opinions on Interim Measures for the Registration and Disclosure of Personal Bankruptcy Information

On October 13, 2021, Shenzhen issued the Interim Measures of Shenzhen Municipality for the Registration and Disclosure of Personal Bankruptcy Information (Exposure Draft), to gather public opinions until October 25, 2021.

The regulation proposes that personal bankruptcy information can be disclosed on a voluntary basis or after application. Shenzhen's bankruptcy affairs administration should establish a sound mechanism to examine personal bankruptcy information disclosure, appoint designated staff to handle the affairs, and non-examined personal bankruptcy information must not be made public. The release of this regulation further enhances the transparency and credibility of the handling of personal bankruptcy cases.
