Grandway has won the first case herd by Beijing Intellectual Property Court

Grandway has represented Beijing LOCOJOY Co., Ltd in a suit with Kalends Technology Co., Ltd on Intellectual tort and has won it successfully.
The suit was the first civil case since Beijing Intellectual Court has founded, Justice Chen Jinchuan personally herd the case and gave the judgement. In the court they discussed about copyright originality, right on adaptation and notarization of evidence. According to law, 500000 yuan is the highest compensation of this sort of cases.
Grandway has been the consultant law firm of LOCOJOY Co., Ltd, whose online game I’m MT is widely known in China, for many years, and the defendant Kalends Technology Co., Ltd has canceled its fake game after the court.
