Mr. Deng has been practicing law since 2007. Before joining Grandway law offices, He worked in TAHOTA Law Firm, AllBright Law Offices, Grandall Law Firm Chengdu office and Zhong Lun Law Firm Chengdu office successively.

Construction. Mr. Deng had handled a lot of non-litigation and litigation cases in the field of construction. Relevant practices include dealing with all legal affairs in the whole process of building construction on behalf of the owner, providing legal advice on various matters such as environmental impact assessment, project establishment, project management (or agency construction), design, supervision and construction, drafting and reviewing relevant legal documents, dealing with dispute resolutions in the course of contract performance through litigations and arbitrations.

He had represented contractors reviewing their contracts and assisting to negotiate with their counterparties for overseas construction projects. Also, he had provided legal services for dispute resolutions in respect of overseas construction projects on behalf of Chinese contractors, assisting them to collect relevant documents and prepare evidence. He had provided legal services on behalf of contractors enjoining payment in the event of fraudulent demand on independent guarantees in China. And he had also provided services to owners and contractors on domestic and overseas tax matters.

Real Estate. Mr. Deng had participated in numerous legal services in the field of commodity house development, providing all legal services in all stages of real estate projects for developers, including M&A, development, construction, sales, leasing, property services and other matters. He also has an insight into the tax issues of real estate M&A and development.

Besides, he had participated in the comprehensive land improvement, the tract of land development and real estate development projects under the overall planning of Chengdu's urban and rural areas, represented the clients acquiring the land quotas through comprehensive land improvement projects, negotiating with the government for the agricultural real estate, tourism real estate or commercial real estate development. He also provided day-to-day legal services for the development, construction and operation of the projects. he had served both the government and developers.

Investment and M&A. Relevant practices include representing clients in project financing through trusts, acquiring projects by way of equity acquisition, acquiring projects by way of a combination of asset transfer and equity acquisition, dealing with all matters in the process of joint development of real estate, and dealing with litigation and arbitration in respect of disputes arising out of equity acquisitions and joint development.

Ligitation and arbitration. Mr. Deng has dealt with numerous litigation and arbitration cases on behalf of his clients, especially in major litigation matters such as construction and equity transfer, communicating with clients effectively, preparing evidence, formulating strategies, and appearing in court for hearing. He has extensive litigation and arbitration experience. He has also dealt with numerous other litigation and arbitration cases during his practice.

Providing legal services for a Chinese central state-owned enterprise in a dispute with the EPC general contractor under a BTG contract for a power plant project in the Republic of India, and providing legal advice concerning the extend or pay demand and the final demand made by the EPC general contractor under an independent guarantee.

Providing legal services for a Chinese central state-owned enterprise in negotiation with the EPC general contractor for compensation when the boiler supply contract and service contract  of a power plant project in the Republic of Kazakhstan are to be terminated. Providing legal services  on the issue of EPC general contractor’s request for extension of advance payment independent guarantee.

Representing a company in litigations and arbitrations against the general contractor in relation to its subcontracted railway and metro projects.

Providing legal services for POLY (Sichuan) in its numerous real estate acquisitions and co-operation projects since 2014.
